Under constuction Concert Reviews

Hi and welcome to my page, there is still alot to be done but I hope you enjoy!

WEMBLEY ARENA(London, England) - 21ST MARCH!

We arrive at the Arena to find Thousand of Backstreet's boys fans hanging around outside, we walk around and find a stall selling merchandise! I buy a t shirt and a tour book! (comes to 22 pounds) We go over to the entrance just to find that the queue is on the other side so that's where we go, then we find that the queue is a mile long! We queue up to get inside the arena, and it moves quite fast! We get in and have to have our bags search (they don't find my camera he he)
We go over to another stall and here I buy a t shirt and poster! Other items on sale were badges, hats, mugs, bracelet's and all sorts! We walk round trying to find the right entrance it takes us ages, but we find it we go in( nothings happening but the screams from fans are deafening) and we can't find our seats(I show my ticket to a steward and he points to where I'm sitting! We sit down - the seats are great, second row! My friend needs to go to the toilet so we get up and go! I wait outside! She comes out and then I buy a thing that lights up! We go back to the hall and we hear music, we think the show has started and we run around trying to find our seats, but it's dark and we're having trouble! We eventually find our seats but it's not the Backstreet Boys!! There's a bloke on stage and he says

STREET LIFE!

NICK - my love life.....
SO WHAT DO YOU THINK OF BRITISH GIRLS NICK?!
They're great - European girls are remarkably beautiful.
It's hard to say which are my favourites - I like every kind of girl, but it's important that a girl has a good heart and a good personality if I'm to like her

SO PERSONALITY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LOOKS, THEN?
Yeah, character is far more important than appearance.
I like a girl who's honest - that's very important. She has to have some grit in her, be able to stand up for herself - but most of all she has to love me, of course!

IF A GIRL FANCIES YOU, WHAT DOES SHE HAVE TO DO TO IMPRESS YOU?
I like presents! A beautiful present would definitely break the ice, but if she can be herself when she starts talking to me then she has a good chance. I don't like girls who can't be themselves, who are in awe of me just because I'm in a band and I'm a popstar. You should always be yourself - never try to be someone your not.

SOUND ADVICE, MR CARTER! BUT HOW CAN A GIRL GET YOUR ATTENTION?
The truth is, I'm fond of aggressive girls - girls who'll do anything to reach their goal. When a girl goes for it, whatever other people say about what she does, I like that. I like girls who don't let other people stop them - that type of girl is the best!

WHAT TURNS YOU OFF IN A GIRL?
That's a hard one because no one is perfect. I'm not fond of bad breath or when a girl is taller than I am. Also, when she thinks she's better than others, or when she only thinks of herself - that's a real breakdown situation.

WHAT DO GIRLS DO TO GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU?
Everthing! They have to be creative, because when we're touring it's not easy to find us!
We have security to start with, and they guard us like we're made of gold! It's not an easy thing to pass them. Then you have to try and find get into our rooms, so first you have to find out which room we're staying in. To make it more difficult we don't register under are own names in hotels, but girls have still succeeded in finding us!

AND WHAT DO THEY DO TO GET IN SIDE YOUR ROOMS?
They phone us up and pretend they're someone else, like someone who knows us, or they pretend they're the cleaning lady or the hotel manager!

AND DO YOU LET THEM IN ONCE THEY FINALLY GET TO YOUR ROOMS?
No... well, what I do is ask them in a friendly way to leave. Sometimes I chat to them first, and mostly they leave after that.If not, then you have to call security!

Howie - my family...
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY, HOWIE...
I was born in Orlando, Florida - where I've lived all my life so far. I've got one older brother and three older sisters, so I'm the baby! My sister Angela is 37, so I have a niece who is almost my age - it's kinda of weird. I try to get her to call me uncle, but she won't do it - it could be embarrassing in front of her friends!

AND WHAT ABOUT YOUR PARENTS?
My dad is a retired police officer and now he's the chief code Enforcement Officer for Orange County, Florida. He has a crew that goes round the city and checks things like problems with people putting up fences too high, or breaking neighbourhood regulations

WHAT DOES YOUR MOTHER DO?
My mother works for Ho ward Mills school...

IS THAT WHERE YOU GOT YOUR NAME?!
No actually, my name came from an American President, Eisenhower, who was called Howie, and it's just a coincidence that Ho ward Mills school is near my house.

WHAT'S YOUR VERY FIRST MEMORY?
Probably my sister's wedding when I was three. I was the ring - bearer, carrying this little pillow with the wedding ring on it. I Was ill that day - I had trouble breathing, but I Still managed the job and I Wasn't even nervous!

WHAT WHERE YOU LIKE AS A KID?
My parents used to say I was always singing. Once, I got up on my grandmother's bed and sang two songs called baby face and country roads, playing this little plastic guitar. I was performing from day one!

HOW WAS YOUR FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL?
When I started playgroup my mum left me and I went running tot the fence crying because I felt really homesick. I cried pretty much half of the day. In fact, I think I finally fell asleep, so then I stopped crying!

KEVIN - my schooldays...
WHAT WERE YOU LIKE AT SCHOOL?
My teachers would probably say I was a big talker. It was hard to keep attention on class because I was always trying to entertain the other pupils - I was always chatting to the other kids and making jokes

DID IT GET YOU INTO TROUBLE?
Yeah I remember when I was in kindergarten, my teacher got me up in class and spanked me! I was always getting spankings from the teachers, not because I was bad, but because I disturbed the class - I talked alot. I was very lively - too lively, in fact!

WHAT WAS THE MOST embarrassing THING THAT HAPPENED IN SCHOOL?
Hold on.... I remember something funny happened when I was eight years old. We were on our way to eat lunch and it was raining hard, and, of course, I had to go and fall in the mud! My trousers were filthy and I couldn't wear them, so I had to go to the school office and ask if the had some spare clothes! They had a pair of jeans, but they were too big for me and they looked ridiculous! I felt really sad all day having too trudge around in these big, baggy pants - it was all very embarrassing.

YOU'RE THE ONLY GUY IN THE BAND WHO FINISHED SCHOOL BEFORE THE BAND TOOK OF - WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE IF IT HADN'T HAVE HAPPENED?
After High School I was supposed to go into the armed forces. I was going to to try to be a pilot fighter, but I ended up up pursing my fist love - music. I've always wanted to fly and I've had some private flying lessons , but my first love is music , so that pretty took priority

SO HOW DID YOU GET STARTED WITH THE BACKSTREET BOYS?
After High School I was in another band for while, and that didn't work out so I moved form Kentucky to Orlando, Florida. I started working at DisneyWorld and performing in restaurant theatres and community theatres as a singer and actor.
